Holiday Count Down

Well, it’s the 1st of October!  Can you believe it?  This year has gone by so fast.  Christmas is only 3 months away.  OMG!  I need to get started on my Christmas gifts.  With the holidays so near (only 12 weeks ’til Christmas), I will be posting my Holiday Countdown.  Every week I will post Holiday cards and gift ideas.

This past weekend I went to a stamp class.  My friend Linda Persoon has a class every month.  The cards we made are shown below.  Quick and Easy!

Merry Christmas

This card was so easy!  I love it.
Vanilla cardstock for card base and saying
Chocolate Ink or coordinating Ink color
2 pieces of DS paper
Strip of coordinating cs for scallop piece and large tag
Decorative edge punch
Vanilla ribbon
Small Tag
Distress and sponge the edge of the saying block

Just For you

Another easy card.  Craft base card.  4 stips of different cardstock colors.  Taped them onto a white cardstock base.  Stamp your image with Versa Mark and clear emboss.  Adhear to card base.  Stamp your saying with craft ink and clear emboss.  Punch out with Modern Label punch.  Tape a piece of ribbon or you could use a thin strip of cardstock.  Adhere with thin sticky tape or Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive.  Adhere the label with dimensionals.

 Thanksgiving Wishes

Another easy card.  Vanilla base card.  3 pieces of cardstock.  Each embossed with a different texture.  Saying was stamped on a vanilla piece and distressed and sponged on the edges.  Used the 1/16 circle punch to punch a small hole right at the crease of the card.  *Note, you punch right on the edge punching off the edge, light punching half a punch circle.  Cut a long piece of twine, enough to go around the base card and to tie to make a bowe or in my case I tied a bowe an then cut it to make the fringe.  You put the twine through that tiny hole, believe it, it will go through there.  Bring it around and tie.  Adhere your saying with dimensionals and you’re done!  Easy.

Birthday Wishes

White base cardstock.  I’m not sure of the exact colors of the cardstock used.  I know she was using the new SU colors and I’m not familar with them quite yet.  Olive green ( I think) background.  Mustard piece to the right side and white cs that we collaged with leaves and Itty Bitty Backgrounds.  2 matching brads. The saying was from Sincere Salutations.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a Great Day!
